Thank Heather - that means a lot. Sometimes we put things out into the world and not know if it will resonate. But it’s been wonderful sharing the anticipation of this garden with people.

Thank you, Cass, for sharing. I'm hoping to go to Melbourne Int. Flower and Garden Show to enjoy the blooms and garden and write an article. So, if I do, I'll definitely drop by the Test Garden. If only all commercial and apartment buildings could have gardens on their rooftops!

Are you going to MIFGS?

Oh thank you for reading and commenting. I appreciate it 🥰

I’ll be heading to MIFGS indeed - probably there Thursday and Saturday sometime 🌱 I’m entering into the hanging basket competition this year, but then I realised that one of the garden designers won last year, so the $800 might not be as realistic a dream as I thought 🤣

Well all the best in the hanging basket competition I think they’re gorgeous mini landscapes.

I’ve decided not to attend the Show for family reasons. But I wish you all the best.

Hi Cass, This was a great read thank you! I was there too. I am so excited for this garden. I have been a follower of Jac Semmler's since I did a private garden tour of her house a few years ago. It was early on in my gardening journey ( I don't really like this word!), and my brain was blown by the diversity Jac had in her garden. I have now gone down the rabbit hole of perennial garden design, with the hope of achieving something like this for my own garden. Thank you for the plant list. I was going to look up the plants to see what is what, and add a few to the ever growing wish list! Cheers, Rebecca

Thanks for the reply Rebecca 🥰 How inspiring is Jac’s garden?! I love the idea of her verge garden and it’s resilience.

I follow you on insta now, so please keep us updated on your perennial garden! Cass 🌱

Thanks Pip! Your encouragement means so much to me. It’s such a small space, but with a huge impact, that’s gaining momentum. And the people behind it? They’re so special x
